I have recently been soliciting people's stories about their need to use marijuana to medicate. Many of us already know that using cannabis can improve certain patients’ quality of life. I for one have been sharing aspects of my story bit by bit (as oppose to byte by byte) but if we want to change the laws across this country everyone needs to get their story out there. I have made this offer, that is to post people's stories to the blog Casey's Dream (http://caseysdream.blogspot.com) before. Only one problem with that plan - I had not provided a way for me to receive those tales of courage. My bad. So I have set up a new e-mail address just for that purpose. The new address is caseyscannabisdream@verizon.net. So please circulate that address to people whose stories need to be told. I will do my best to get them posted ASAP.
Peace
Barry

| Casey: I have no personal experience, the many people i am in contact with tell me it, marijuana, muddies the waters in their recovery from addiction. Remember all my contacts are in addiction recovery and/or serious mental disorders. I see some of these folks that have pain management problems, too. Their pain, the laws, and their addiction leave these people in a place i cannot describe. They deserve all the Love one can give. |

| I know very few things about marijuana use and it's effects on people, i have learned a lot about drugs on this forum and i think it's a big help for people in need. I am impressed by people in sober living programs they tell me anything is possible. |

All the bad acts spoken here are the results of our horrendous, "Drug Prohibition Laws". This is nothing but an addict trying to obtain drugs, The coverup to obtain these drugs is very serious behavior and should be addressed by our Justice System. The question is? Why don't we just let her have the drugs? Her addiction/non-addiction is her responsibility, not our justice system. |

What, exactly, is the lesson here? That addiction makes you a better parent? That's it's okay to let your addiction ruin the lives of others?
These people make me sick. |

Okay, I got it: If you're rich enough, drug addiction makes you a "better person as well as a better parent."
Not rich? Scumbag, unemployable drug felon, child abuser.
If you're rich enough, stealing narcotics from poor people will put you "in legal jeopardy."
Not rich? Drug raids, county jail, mandatory treatment, halfway house, prison.
If you're rich enough, your drug addiction will cause doctors to lose their livelihood and charities to close their doors.
Not rich? You'll be needing help from charities because you'll lose YOUR livelihood.
John McCain, the man who would be president of the world's most powerful nation, would have us believe that he DIDN'T KNOW his wife was addicted to painkillers.
Birds of a feather flock together -- that goes for liars and hypocrites, too. |
